Apply for your marriage license online
Fill out the application for your marriage license online up to a year before your wedding day. Link to the application: https://emrs.ehawaii.gov/emrs/public/home.html
There is a $65 application fee

Second
Schedule an appointment with a license agent
After applying for the application you’ll need to set up an appointment with a license agent.
You’ll meet with this agent when you’re on island to get your marriage license.

Hire an officiant or “performer” that is approved by the state

Meet with your license agent
You and your fiancé will need to attend
The meeting will take about 30 mins
Bring a printed copy of your application receipt and a government-issued photo ID (drivers license or passport, for example)
After the meeting, your marriage license is valid for up to 30 days
If plans change you can use your license to get married on any island
