“While planning my wedding I hyper-fixated on finding the PERFECT photographer and since we were planning a destination wedding, it was a stressful task finding someone. After spending months combing through IG photos from various Hawaiian photographers, I came across Colby and Jess. Obviously their photos are stunning, but I was surprised how easy it was working with Colby! He is great with communication and was always easy to get ahold of leading up to the day of. On the day, we couldn’t have asked for better photographer. We needed a million different family photos, at a bunch of different locations and he was game for all of it. Colby is the perfect balance of laid back and professional, which automatically brought down our nerves and stress levels that day! We even decided to do an Adventure Session after the wedding, and we had such an amazing time climbing around rocks with the waves crashing around us. “As someone who sometimes takes photos myself, I was a bit particular about who I wanted to ask to capture my wife's and my wedding party. Colby flew into Honolulu to a venue that he had never been to before and was able to capture great photos of our event and the moments that happened.

Everything from reaching out to receiving our photos went smoothly. He showed up promptly, was really chill and easygoing, and helped us feel relaxed in front of the camera. He didn't stick out, never got in anyone's way, and was a nice person to have at our event.

The photos we received included ones of us in different locations and poses, group shots with family and friends, guests interacting and having a good time, close-ups of food, decorations and table settings, and the venue itself.

“Every component of working with Colby was stress free. We had amazing photos of our wedding that everyone loved! He made everything really easy, had really clear and friendly terms about ownership and printing rights, and his website for providing the photos was excellent. Colby was very responsive throughout the process, answering our questions and suggesting locations for our day after photo shoot. He was also a really good person and somebody we were happy to have at our wedding. Even the contracting and payment system was easy to use and transparent!

On the day of the wedding, he was there capturing every moment, but never imposed. We had both really natural photos of people having fun with lawn games as well as posed photos. He always checked to make sure that we had all the photos we wanted.

They truly go above and beyond to make sure your special day is as stress free as possible.

Leading up to our wedding day, we were able to make adjustments to the timeline and shooting locations with ease. The day of our ceremony it was supposed to torrentially rain (and luckily the weather held off) but Colby and Jess were always there to reassure me that no matter what the weather did, that we would have an amazing time, and we definitely did!
